The bad smells in the glamping tent may come from many aspects, including guests smoking, humid environment, long-term lack of ventilation, and stains and mold accumulated during daily use.
How to remove bad smells ?
1. Ventilation
Basic measures: Open the doors and windows of the tent to allow air to circulate. This is the most direct and effective way to remove bad smells.
Notes: When the weather permits, try to keep the air circulating inside the tent, especially before and after guests check in and after check out.
2. Clean and dry
Clean regularly: Use a detergent suitable for the tent material, rinse with clean water after cleaning and make sure the tent is completely dry.
Keep it dry: Use a dehumidifier or turn on the air conditioner’s dehumidification function to keep the inside of the tent dry.
3.Natural deodorization methods
Baking soda: Sprinkle inside and outside the tent, let it sit for a few hours and then clean it. It has adsorption capacity and can remove bad smells.
Tea bags, orange peels, bamboo charcoal bags: Placed in the tent, they have adsorption and deodorization effects.
4.Treatment of specific bad smells
Smoking odor: Use white vinegar or lemon juice to wipe the surface of the tent.
Mold odor: Use diluted white vinegar to wipe the mold and dry it in the sun.
Harmful gases such as formaldehyde: Consider using professional formaldehyde removers or air purifiers.
Precautions
Regular maintenance: Including cleaning, drying and ventilation to reduce the generation of bad smells.
Use environmentally friendly materials: Try to choose environmentally friendly and odorless materials to reduce the release of harmful gases.
